Insurance You Can Avoid

If you are careful about trying to manage your money, you will have probably put yourself in a position where you have low overheads and probably only have the mortgage and car payments to worry about.

If you have good for you because unlike many you will save yourself a fortune in insurance payments during your lifetime.

Insurance is a great help when things go wrong and you haven’t they money in the bank to purchase a new one, but the problem here is over a four or five year period you could have saved enough to pay for an item upfront.

This is particularly the case with household items so try and save enough for a rainy day so you can start to do without this type of insurance as it sure as hell is money for old rope as far a s the insurance companies are concerned.

No matter how much money you have in the bank some insurance will be unavoidable and foolhardy to ignore. Life, health, home and auto insurance are typical of these if you don’t have them you’ll wish you did, and if you do you’ll moan coz you never used it .

If you are a homeowner still paying on the home, chances are you are required by your bank to carry homeowner’s insurance. This is because the bank is investing in the home and using it as collateral. If something happens to the home, they want to be made whole. If your home is paid off, you may not be required to have homeowner’s insurance but it is generally a good idea to have it to protect your investment. A basic homeowners insurance policy consists of coverage from theft, damage and natural disaster for the home and its contents. However, there are exceptions and limits in each policy that need to be examined to ensure you are getting the best coverage possible. Just because you have basic homeowners insurance does not mean you have sufficient coverage.
